Q-CODE User Guide

Instructions for the Pre-Entry Quarantine Information System for travelers entering South Korea from Quarantine inspection areas.

Prepare the Following:

Passport, Flight ticket (or ship ticket)

Before using Q-CODE, please have your passport and flight ticket (or ship ticket) ready.

Search for Q-CODE and visit the website.

Tap the “Enter Quarantine Information” button

Read and agree to the terms, then click the “Next” button.

Enter an accurate phone number at which you can be contacted in Korea. 

Enter your entry information, address, and contact details.

Please provide an accurate phone number at which you can be contacted.

After entering your health information, click the “Submit” button.

If you have symptoms suggestive of an infectious disease, 

such as fever, cough, rash, or diarrhea, inform a quarantine officer 

or contact the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency 1339 Call Center.

Scan the Q-CODE at the quarantine checkpoint.

Quarantine is completed if there are no health issues.

Failure to fill out or falsely submitting information may result in imprisonment 

for up to one (1) year or a fine of up to KRW 10 million under Article 39 of the Quarantine Act.
