The updates on COVID-19 in Korea as of 2 October

As of 0:00, 02 October 2020, the total number of confirmed cases is 23,952 (including 3,247 imported cases), of which 21,733 cases have been discharged from isolation. There are 53 new local cases, 10 new imported cases, and 1 new deaths.

KDCA asked the public to "stay home" during the Chuseok holidays and avoid traveling

 

KDCA also reminded the public to hold non-face to face methods of religious activities

KDCA reminded the public to refrain from participating or hosting mass rallies

 

KDCA is planning to thoroughly monitor the outbreak of seasonal influenza.

Seasonal influenza is showing lower outbreak rate than the standard (5.8/1,000 people) from 20 ~ 26 September(1.3/1,000 people)

Comprehensive monitoring system including the number of antiviral preion is in operation
