Foremost leader in infectious disease response, 1339 Call Center
◇ 1339 Call Center operates as the KCDC communication counter 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
◇ KCDC starts 1339 Call Center 1:1 online consultation service
◇ Information SMS through Notice Talk service after consultation
□ Director Jung Ki-Suck of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) visited the 1339 Call Center, a foremost leader in infectious disease response, and checked the key operations and facilities and encouraged consultants before the Lunar New Year's holiday starting on January 25 (Wed.).
□ The KCDC has expanded the operations of 1339 Call Center, which functions as its communication counter, from telephone to online consultations*.
○ Director Jung also announced that the Kakao Talk Notice service will provide the website address for information check on inquiries following a consultation session which is set to begin in February.

□ In addition, Director Jung expressed gratitude to the consultants of the call center who dedicate their efforts to improving national health by working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at KCDC's communication counter.
○ He asked the consultants to continue to play their roles successfully as a channel to receive the opinions of citizens and resolve their anxiety by providing swift and accurate services during the Lunar New Year's holiday.
