Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) envisions a world toward a safer and healthier future. To achieve this goal, the KDCA conducts and supports biomedical science and health research to address national challenges against emerging, re-emerging and national notable infectious diseases. The KDCA's Division of Vectors & Parasitic Diseases (DVPD) has been conducting diagnosis and surveillance for indigenous, imported and tropical Vector-borne and Parasitic diseases. To enhance the global capacity for preventing Vector-borne and Parasitic diseases, the DVPD has been supported the Asian countries under the "KDCA-DVPD Grant program". This program supports international cooperation and laboratory establishment for the diagnosis and surveillance of Vectors and Parasitic diseases.
