Influenza weekly surveillance report(week 43, 2023)

Oct 22 to 28, 2023 (Week 43) 


1. ILI(Influenza like Illness) surveillance

In week 43 2023, overall weekly influenza-like illness (ILI) rate was 32.6‰, which was higher than 18.8‰ recorded in the previous week.


2. Virus surveillance

In week 43 2023, out of the 354 respiratory specimens, 121 samples (34.2%) were positive for influenza virus. (98 for A/H1N1pdm09, 21 for A/H3N2, B for 2)
