질병관리청 2022.01.24. 국내 체류 외국인(18세 이상) 코로나19 백신 3차접종(부스터) 안내 예방접종은 시간이 지나면서 효과가 감소하여 감염위험이 증가합니다. 코로나19는 3차접종(부스터)까지 완료하면 기본접종만 한 것보다 감염 및 중증 예방효과가 더 큽니다. 한국에서의 안전한 생활을 위해 반드시 3차접종을 해주시기 바랍니다. 국내 또는 해외에서 기본접종을 마친 18세 이상 외국인은 무료로 3차접종(부스터)을 받을 수 있습니다. ㅇ 접종 시기 - 2차접종 완료 후 3개월(90일)이 지나면 3차접종이 필요합니다. 얀센 백신 접종자는 1차접종 후 2개월(60일)이 지나면 2차접종(부스터)이 필요합니다. - 2차접종 완료 후 6개월(180일) 이내에 3차접종*을 받지 않으면 방역패스의 효력이 상실되며, 3차접종을 받으면 즉시 효력이 인정됩니다. *얀센 백신은 1차접종 후 6개월(180일) 이내 2차접종 ㅇ 백신 종류 및 접종 장소 - 3차접종은 mRNA백신(화이자, 모더나)으로 시행합니다. 얀센 백신 접종자 중 2차접종(부스터)은 mRNA백신(화이자, 모더나)으로 시행하며, 2차접종(부스터)을 얀센 백신으로 받고자 하는 경우 가까운 보건소로 문의하시기 바랍니다. - 건강보험 가입여부와 무관하게 코로나19 예방접종을 시행하는 의료기관 또는 보건소에서 접종을 받을 수 있습니다. ㅇ 예약 방법 ① 국내에서 기본접종을 마친 외국인 1) 등록외국인 : 기본접종 시와 동일하게 온라인이나 전화를 통해 예약할 수 있습니다. * 온라인예약: 코로나19예방접종사전예약시스템(https://ncvr.kdca.go.kr) 접속하여 본인인증 후 예약 ** 전화예약: 질병관리청 콜센터(☏1339) 또는 지자체별 예약상담 전화번호(https://ncv.kdca.go.kr 접속 →‘코로나19 예방접종 전화예약 운영현황’에서 확인) 2) 미등록외국인(불법체류 외국인 포함) : 기본접종 때 보건소에서 발급받았던 임시관리번호를 이용하여 전화예약 또는 접종기관(의료기관 또는 보건소)에 방문하여 예약할 수 있습니다. ② 해외에서 기본접종을 마친 외국인(90일 이하 단기체류 외국인 포함) - 신분증을 지참하여 가까운 보건소를 방문, 임시관리번호를 발급받아 해외 접종이력을 등록한 후, 전화예약 또는 접종기관(의료기관 또는 보건소)에 방문하여 예약할 수 있습니다. * 등록외국인은 임시관리번호 발급이 필요하지 않습니다. ※ 참고 - 신분에 관한 정보는 예방접종의 목적으로만 이용되며, 통보의무 면제제도에 의해 출입국‧외국인관서에 불법체류 사실 등이 통보되지 않습니다. - 기타 자세한 사항은 질병관리청 코로나19 예방접종 누리집(https://ncv.kdca.go.kr)을 참고해주시기 바랍니다.

Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency 2022.01.25. COVID-19 Booster Shot Guideline for Foreign Nationals (18 years or older) Staying in the Republic of Korea. The protection provided by vaccines tends to wane over time and raise the risk of infection. Receiving a booster shot has been proven to provide greater protection against infection and severe illness from COVID-19 than those seen only after the primary series vaccination. We strongly encourage everyone to get booster shots so you can enjoy a healthier and safer time in Korea. If you are 18 years or older and have completed your primary series vaccination in or outside of Korea, you are eligible to receive a booster shot for free. ㅇ When Can I Get a Booster Dose? - You can get your booster shot 90 days (3 months) after your primary series completion. For Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) recipients, you can get your booster shot 60 days (2 months) after your initial dose of the vaccine. * Primary series: - 2 dose-series of Pfizer, Moderna, and Astrazeneca. - A single dose of Janssen. - After you receive your primary dose(s), you must receive your booster shot within 6 months(180 days) or your vaccine pass will become invalid. Your vaccine pass will become valid immediately once you receive your booster shot. ㅇ Which Booster Shot Should I Get and Where? - Currently offered booster shots are mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna). * The same applies to Janssen recipients. Please contact a public health center near you if you want to recieve a Janssen booster shot. - You can get your booster shot from medical institutions and public health centers, whether you have health insurance or not. ㅇ How to Make Your Vaccine Appointment ① If You Were Vaccinated in Korea 1) Registered Foreign Nationals: You can make an appointment online or over the phone, just like how you made the appointment(s) for your previous vaccine(s). *Online Reservation: Visit the KDCA website (https://ncvr.kdca.go.kr), verify your identity and make your appointment. **Phone Reservation: Contact the KDCA call center at ☏1339 or a medical center run by your local municipal government (Visit https://ncv.kdca.go.kr → click the sub menu “코로나19예방접중 전화예약 운영현황” (A list of local call centers’ contact information) to find the phone number for your local municipality’s center). 2) Unregistered Foreign Nationals (including illegal residents): Use the temporary code you received at public health centers when you took your previous dose(s) to make your booster shot appointment via phone or visiting the inoculation centers (medical institutions or public health centers) in person. ② If You Were Vaccinated Outside of Korea (including short-term travelers staying in Korea for less than 90 days) - Please visit a public health center near you and bring your ID. Request a temporary code and register your international vaccination records. You can then make your booster shot appointment via phone or visiting the inoculation centers (medical institutions or public health center) in person. *Registered foreign nationals do not need a temporary code for the booster shot vaccination. ※ Please Note - Information regarding your identity and legal status will solely be used for vaccination purposes only. Medical institutions and public health centers are exempt from their obligations to notify illegal residents to the Korea Immigration Service. - Please visit the KDCA website (https://ncv.kdca.go.kr) for more information.
