A Guide to COVID-19 vaccines for foreign young children staying in the Republic of Korea(6 months through 4 years of age) Young children are encouraged to get vaccinated to be better protected from COVID-19 (Vaccine Eligibility) All young children aged 6 months through 4 years of age (Dosing Interval) 3-dose vaccine series given 8 weeks (56 days) apart (Vaccine Type & Site) Vaccination Type: Pfizer vaccine for young children Vaccination site: visit the official COVID-19 vaccination website to see where the vaccine is administered * Go to the website → current status of vaccination → vaccination sites for young children (Vaccination Appointment) Registered foreigners: Online, phone or same-day appointments, or walk-in visits Unregistered foreigners: Online, phone or same-day appointments, or walk-in visits with a temporary management number issued from a public health center ※ To ensure safety, young children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to monitor adverse reactions after a COVID-19 vaccine and fill out a COVID-19 vaccination report. ※ Note Online booking portal site: https://ncvr.kdca.go.kr (booking on someone else’s behalf available) Same-day appointment: call a medical facility and sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine wait-list Walk-in service: visit a walk-in clinic and get vaccinated without an appointment or receive a vaccine while visiting for other medical purposes. * It is provided only when walk-in clinics have available vaccines and can deliver vaccinations without disruption to other health and care services.
