1. 질병매개곤충 자원은행 설립기획에 관련하여 미국 내의 매개체 자원을 관리하고 있는 기관들을 방문하고 견학하여 자원은행 설립 및 운영에 대한 제반 정보 등을 수집하고자 함
2. 2016년 제25회 세계곤충학회(International Congress of Entomology, ICE2016)에 참석하여 매개체 생태 및 매개체내 병원체 연구에 관한 연구결과를 발표하고, 매개체 관련분야에 대한 최신 연구동향 파악하고자 함
