Establishment of Regional Infectious Disease Specialist Hospitals Project
Project Objective
Designation of regional infectious disease specialists and establishment and operation of infectious disease wards to respond to national public health crisis situations that may arise from new infectious diseases and re-emerging infectious diseases.
Support Details
Support for the establishment of infectious disease wards that include 36 negative pressure beds (30 general, 6 intensive care) and 2 negative pressure operating rooms, as well as facilities for education and training.
Main Role
- Diagnosis and Testing Diagnosis, treatment, and testing of patients with new infectious diseases and unexplained illnesses
- Education and Training Diagnosis, treatment, and testing of patients with new infectious diseases and unexplained illnesses
- Patient Referral and Transfer Coordination of hospital assignment and transfer based on patient severity
