National Comprehensive Plan for Injury Management
Legal Basis
- In accordance with Article 6 of the "Act on the Prevention and Management of Injuries," the Commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency shall establish and implement the "Comprehensive Plan for Injury Management" every 5 years.
Article 6 of the "Act on the Prevention and Management of Injuries" (Establishment of the Comprehensive Plan for Injury Management)
- The Commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency shall establish a comprehensive plan for injury management (hereinafter referred to as the "Comprehensive Plan") every 5 years after deliberation by the National Injury Management Committee under Article 7. The same shall apply when changing important matters prescribed by Presidential Decree within the Comprehensive Plan.
- The Comprehensive Plan shall include the following matters:
- The basic goals and direction of the injury management project
- The promotion plan and methods for the injury management project
- Measures for training the professional workforce necessary for injury management
- Measures for managing statistics and information on injuries
- Other matters necessary for injury management

- Scheduled to be announced in September 2025 after deliberation by the National Injury Management Committee and a public hearing.
