Background

  • Increase in the occurrence of and risk factors for allergic diseases
    • Continuous increase in the occurrence of and risk factors for allergic diseases due to changes in the living environment (e.g., house dust mites, smoking, pets, air pollution) and demographic changes (population aging)
  • Need for early recognition and management of allergic diseases
    • Due to the characteristics* of allergic diseases, the absence or delay of treatment in childhood increases the transition to adult diseases, which makes early recognition and management very important.
